JCC hoopsters take 2 from Cayuga
WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Jefferson Community College hosted Cayuga in both women’s and men’s basketball Monday.
On the women’s side:
-Abby Raven with the rebound and the basket for the Cannoneers.
- Lakaiya Butcher at the foul line for 2 of her 17 points.
- Delaney Wiley stops and pops for 2. She nets 14 points.
- Kori Nichols with the pass to Bridget Watson for the basket.
- Talk about touch, Lakaiya Butcher gets the friendly bounce for the bucket.
Final score: Jefferson 65, Cayuga 43.
On the men’s side:
- Dante Stokes with the stroke for the Cannoneers.
- Babekir Elshieckh takes it down the lane for the layup.
- Ibrahim Wally moves in the paint and gets the bounce for 2.
- Kristan Lewis goes down low for 2.
Final score: Jefferson 81, Cayuga 76.
