Popular coach returns to JCC women’s basketball

WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - For the Jefferson Community College women’s basketball team, it’s back to the future as the Cannoneers opened the season with a win with a beloved coach back at the helm.

Coach Jeff Wiley’s first game back was a success Sunday as Jefferson defeated Jamestown 63- 41.

Wiley is certainly happy with the team’s start, especially with one end of the court.

Wiley and his players are excited about what this year holds for the Cannoneers.
