Highlights & scores: Girls & boys on the pitch in Section X

(WWNY) - There’s was plenty of action on the pitch in Section X on Monday.

Heuvelton was at Lisbon for girls’ Class D soccer quarterfinals.

- Allison Bell with the scoring touch for Lisbon. It’s 1-0 Knights.

- Regan Pirie sets up Bell, who rings in the second goal, making it 2-0 Lisbon.

- Pirie is on the run and tucks the ball in the mesh. It’s now 3-0 Lisbon.

Golden Knights went on to beat Heuvelton 6-0 and advance to the semifinals on Friday at Potsdam High School.

Colton-Pierrepont hosted Parishville-Hopkinton, also in girls’ Class D.

- Kaitlyn Houston with lift-off of the corner kick. Meridyth Clark gets the header on net, but Panthers keeper Kelsey Farnsworth dives to bat away the shot.

- Panthers fail to clear. Teagan Planty with the shot. Farnsworth again makes the stop.

- Colts with a set play on the corner kick. Planty on the give-n-go with Morgan Cole, toes the shot inside the far post. It’s 1-0 Colton-Pierrepont.

The Colts face Lisbon in the semifinal game.

Edwards-Knox was at Hermon-DeKalb.

- Lillie Lottie with a shot on goal, kicked out by Demons keeper Jaya O’Donnell. It’s 2-1 Hermon.

- E-K’s Rylee Typhair squeezes the ball to Addison Foster, tying the game 2-2.

- With just four seconds left for a corner kick. Alyia O’Donnell to Olivia Simser – beats the final horn.

Hermon-DeKalb survives Edwards-Knox 3-2.

Gouverneur was at Potsdam for a boys’ Class B play-in game.

- The Wildcats’ Kaymin Besaw feeds Gavin Warren for the long shot. Miles Atteman makes the save.

- John Duffy then launches a direct kick over the wall and just over the crossbar. The game is still scoreless.

- Duffy again from near midfield, but Jude Wilson snares the shot.

- Logan Hill with a 30-yard direct kick, is turned away by Atteman.

- Warren sets up Ashton Currier for the opening goal. It’s 1-0 Gouverneur.

Warren also scored a goal. Kelvin Bice also contributed a goal and an assist, as the Wildcats held on to edge Potsdam 3-2 and advance to the Class B semifinals vs. Canton.
