Cyclones head to sectionals after impressive regular season

WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - The Watertown girls’ soccer team heads to Section III playoffs on the road on Thursday.
The Cyclones hope to make a run deep into the postseason.
The Cyclones have put together an impressive season, going 11-3-2 and earning a number-five seed in Section III Class AA.
Both coach Mariah Wright and his players are happy with the effort.
Despite having a better record, Watertown has to travel to fourth-seed Whitesboro on Thursday. The Cyclones hope it’s the beginning of a long postseason run.
