WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Give TALLER is a local charity run by Heidi and FynePr1nt Williams. It’s a small operation with a big impact.

“It’s basically just an idea of how we want to treat people and how we want to be treated. We want Time, Attention, Love, Loyalty, Effort and Respect,” FynePr1nt Williams said, “and if we want that, we have to be willing to give that.”

The group donates to local nonprofits and recently had a new idea.

“Probably about a month ago, I was reflecting on the previous year and the homeless situation,” Heidi Williams said. “I knew last year the big snowstorm came November 18 and we’re just a few weeks away from that. So, I put together a warm-clothing drive.”

Give TALLER is asking the community for donations of hygiene products and warm weather items.

“We have a couple neck warmers, scarves, some earmuffs in there,” Heidi Williams said.

There’s going to be a packing party for these Blessing Bags on November 14 at the East Hounsfield Library. You can drop off donations before then at Vito’s Gourmet, Rhonda’s FooteWorks, Chrissy Beanz, the Wellness Cottage, or the East Hounsfield Library.

“So, they’ll be distributed to the warming center at the Salvation Army, the Youth Alliance of Jefferson County, and the Victims Assistance Center,” Heidi Williams said.
