WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Cornell Cooperative Extension has tips on how to save money while staying warm this winter.

Eamon LaDue is an energy advisor for Jefferson and Lewis counties. Watch the video for his interview on 7 News This Morning.

He says CCE will host coffee hours in each county toward the end of the month. It’s a casual way for people to learn how to save energy costs.

They can learn about things like leaving your shades open during the day in winter to let sunlight in and covering your drafty windows with plastic.

There will be more information on the coffee hours at ccejefferson.org and on Facebook. You can also call 315-788-8450.
