WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - The Jefferson County Historical Society is getting into the Halloween spirit.

A couple of events are planned and our guests, Andrea Carr and Toni Engleman, appeared on 7 News at Noon on Wednesday to talk about them. You can watch their interview above.

The first event will be held this Saturday at the Historical Society. The Haunted Happy Hour will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will include ghost stories, spooky folktales and cocktails. It costs $10 to attend.

The second event is set for October 28. The Halloween Costume Ball is set for October 28 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Paddock Mansion on Washington Street.

There will be food, drinks, music and dancing. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.

Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for non-members age 21 and older.
