Gary L. Heilman, 88, of Calcium

CALCIUM, New York (WWNY) - Gary L. Heilman, 88, passed away on November 18, 2023 at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

No public services will be held. The burial will be held privately in Sanford Corners Cemetery in Calcium.

Born on April 14, 1935 in Watertown, Gary was the son of the late Lewis and Gladys (Ball) Heilman. On May 20, 1960 he married Carol Mussot.

He was employed with the M.E. Avery Company in Watertown for many years until its closing. He went on to work for Slack Chemical in Carthage until his retirement.

He was a former member of the Watertown Eagles Clubs and an avid New York Yankees fan. He enjoyed watching old Westerns, especially John Wayne movies.

Survivors include his wife, Carol of Calcium their daughter, Cathy (John) Feltz of Watertown, and a sister in-law, Reta Mussot of Cape Vincent.
