Donna Marie (Montroy) Cutwa, 74, of Ogdensburg

OGDENSBURG, New York (WWNY) - Graveside services for Donna Marie (Montroy) Cutwa, age 74, of St. Lawrence Ave, Ogdensburg, will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. Mrs. Cutwa passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at her home under the care of St. Lawrence Valley Hospice surrounded by her loved ones.

Donna is survived by her children, David Cutwa and his wife, Jackie, of Lisbon, NY and Michele Cutwa and her fiancé, Jay Hodgson, of Richmond Hill, GA ; two grandchildren, Jolie Cutwa and Prudence Cutwa of Lisbon, NY; four brothers, Charles W. Monroy and his wife, Dorothy, of Waco, TX, Preston J. Montroy of Ogdensburg, NY, Raymond and his wife, Sylvia, of Ogdensburg, NY and William J. Montroy and his wife, Denise, of Charlotte, NC; a sister, Mary Ann Ashley and her husband, Allen, of Ogdensburg, NY; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Donna is predeceased by her brother, David G. Montroy in 2014.

Donna was born on September 17,1949, in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of the late Preston D. and Ethel M. (Burkhart) Montroy. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1967. Donna married Michael P. Cutwa on April 27, 1968, at Notre Dame Church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. A.D. Charbonneau officiating. He predeceased her on July 27, 1999. Donna was employed in the Kitchen for Ogdensburg City School District for thirty-eight years, until her retirement.

Donna was past President of the Non-Teaching Union as well as the Advisory Board for Ogdensburg City School District.
